on the road to SXSW - At the Grand Canyon

SomaFM is road tripping to South by Southwest this year. Well, at least Rusty and Merin are. Elise is going to fly in a little later. But on the way there, we're going to spread the word about SomaFM along historic Route 66 and the southern US. And tell you about it in the process.

At the Grand Canyon

We made it to Grand Canyon for sunset.

It will be fun to see how different the canyon looks tomorrow.

Merin is going to go for a hike along the canyon rim in the morning for a few hours to take photos, and Rusty will be doing his normal SomaFM morning routine: answering email, picking out music, updating the website, and blaring Drone Zone from a boom box out into the canyon.

Tomorrow afternoon, we move on… either keep heading East, or head south now. There are a couple of different routes that get us to some interesting places in New Mexico, but have no idea how far we’ll get by nightfall.
